Welcome.

I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology at University of Calgary, and an incoming FWO Junior Postdoctoral Fellow at KU Leuven. Before joining UCalgary, I earned my doctorate in anthropology at George Washington University.

My work is set in Republic of Georgia, more specifically in the contested Georgia-Abkhazia borderland and the Gali region.

 

In my current and emerging projects, I am interested in everyday materiality and temporality of long-term conflict and uncertainty.
